<![CDATA[ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengisolasi senyawa metabolit sekunder ekstrak n-heksan daun kayu jawa (L. coromandelica). Penelitian dilakukan melalui beberapa tahap diantaranya preparasi sampel, ekstraksi dengan metode maserasi, fraksinasi, pemurnian, identifikasi, dan uji bioaktivitas. Identifikasi dilakukan meliputi uji golongan, uji titik leleh, dan uji spektroskopi IR. Hasil penelitian diperoleh isolat murni berupa serbuk berwarna putih dengan titik leleh 63-64,5oC. Hasil uji dengan pereaksi Lieberman-Burchard memberikan perubahan warna dari bening menjadi kuning, dan spektrum IR menunjukkan gugus-gugus yang mengarah golongan senyawa terpenoid. Uji toksisitas dengan metode Brine Shrimp Lethality Test (BSLT) diperoleh LC50 sebesar 1,297 ppm, yang menunjukkan bahwa isolat memiliki toksisitas yang tinggi.Kata kunci: Isolasi, Bioaktivitas, L. coromandelica, Terpenoid, dan BSLT. ABSTRACTThis study aim to isolate and identify secondary metabolites of n-hexane extract of kayu jawa leaf (L. coromandelica). The sample of this research from subdistrict Labakkang, Pangkep, South Sulawesi. The research was carried out in several stages: preparation sample, extraction by maceration method, fractionation, purification, identification and bioactivity test. Identification was carried out including group test, melting point test, and IR spectroscopic. The results of the study obtained pure isolate of white powder with a melting point of 63-64,5oC. The test results with the Lieberman-Burchard reagent give a colorless change to yellow, and the IR spectrum showed that the isolate obtained were groups of terpenoid compounds. Toxicity test using the Brine Shrimp Lethality Test (BSLT) method obtained LC50 of 1,297 ppm, that isolate high toxicity.Keywords: Isolation, Bioactivity, L. coromandelica, Terpenoid, and BSLT.]]>
