<![CDATA[Membaca adalah suatu kemampuan atau keterampilan yang penting bagi setiap orang terutama siswa sekolah untuk mendapatkan ilmu pengetahuan dan informasi secara tertulis. Alasan penelitian ini adalah beberapa siswa yang masih mengalami kesulitan dalam membaca selama proses pembelajaran. Maka, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media kartu cepat bergambar untuk melatih kemampuan membaca pada siswa kelas 1 sekolah dasar. Peneliti menggunakan jenis metode penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D), model yang digunakan adalah model Borg and Gall. Sampel yang digunakan adalah 15 siswa kelas 1 di SDN Kedungpeluk 1. Instrumen yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah lembar tes dan lembar validasi ahli.. Media yang dikembangkan adalah kartu cepat bergambar untuk melatih kemampuan membaca siswa kelas 1 SD. Hasil penelitian pada media kartu cepat, yaitu: pertama, berdasarkan validasi media menyatakan bahwa media kartu cepat bergambar layak dengan nilai presentase 85,71%. kedua untuk hasil keefektifan media kartu cepat bergambar dilakukan dengan pretest dan posttest dalam uji coba pretest nilai rata-rata siswa sebesar 46,66% sedangkan posstest memperoleh hasil sebesar 80%. Maka kartu cepat bergambar bisa dikatakan efektif dan layak untuk melatih kemampuan membaca. Reading is one of important skill for every person especially student of elementary school for getting the new knowledge and get the many information. The reason of research is there were some students difficult to reading during learning process in the class. So, this research aimed to development of media flashcard picture that can help students for increase the reading skills’ students of elementary school. Researchers use this type of research and development (R&D) method, the model used is the Borg and Gall model. The sample used is 15 students grade one elementary school of Kedungpeluk 1. In this research, the instrument was test and interview. The Media developed is quick picture cards to read elementary school first grades. The results show that the quick picture card, namely: first, based on media validation states that the media is feasible with a percentage value of 85,71%. Second for the results of the effectiveness of the quick picture card media, it is done with a pretest and posttest in the trial, the pretest average score of students is 46,66% while the posttest results are 80%. Then quick picure cards can be said to be effective and feasible to practice reading skills.]]>
