<![CDATA[Malnutrition and malnutrition are stated as the cause of the death of 3.5 million children under the age of five (toddlers) in the world. Lack of Protein Energy (KEP) is a problem that requires special attention, especially in developing countries, which is an important risk factor for morbidity and mortality in pregnant women and children under five. Nutritional status (nutriens) is the chemical bond the body needs to carry out its functions, namely to produce energy, build and maintain tissues and regulate life processes. The purpose of this study is to know the factors that are related to the nutritional status of toddlers in the working area of Teluk belengkongPublic Health Center, Kampar Regency. This type of research is a quantitative analytical observational method using a cross-sectional design. Cross sectional study. The population in this study were all mothers who have children under five in the working area of the Teluk belengkongPublic Health Center as many as 987 people. The sample of this research is all mothers who have children under five in the work area of Teluk belengkong Health Center as many as 91 people according to the inclusion criteria using accidental sampling technique. The results using chi square of statistical tests showed that there was a relationship between family income, education and mother's knowledge with the nutritional status of children under five in the working area of the Teluk belengkongPublic Health Center, Kampar Regency, with a p value <0.000. It is hoped that local health services can provide counseling to mothers in order to adopt a clean and healthy lifestyle, so that their children do not get sick easily, and then strive for mothers to bring their children to health care if their children are sick.]]>
