Abstract

Community Service (PkM) with the theme "Increasing Interest in Learning Arabic through the Application of the PAIKEM Method Based on Language Games for DDI Padanglampe Pangkep Madrasah Students" aims to provide a kind of treatment or basic skill training in Arabic through increasing interest and motivation to learn by using the PAIKEM method is based on fun Arabic games with a play-while-learning approach to DDI Padanglampe Pangkep Madrasah students as partners. The method of implementing this training is divided into several meeting sessions using several approaches, namely; 1) participatory lectures and discussions to provide an overview of the urgency of Arabic in life and tips on learning Arabic in increasing interest in learning Arabic, 2) provision of training materials that combine theory and practice using the "PAIKEM Method based on language games" module, 3) simulation and practice of using Arabic by students through language game methods in the form of singing and role-playing. The results and benefits of this training were that the participants, in this case, the students, were very enthusiastic and motivated in participating in the training activities as well as providing new enrichment in the Arabic language learning method and the madrasads gave a positive response and hoped that this kind of activity could be continued in the future.
