Abstract

AbstrakKrispin Agustina Moula, Program Studi Manajemen, Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis, Universitas Widyagama Malang, 2022. Pengaruh Kecerdasan Emosional terhadap Kinerja Pegawai yang Dimoderasi Etos Kerja (Studi pada Dinas Perpustakaan Umum dan Arsip Daerah Kota Malang). Dosen Pembimbing 1: Dr. Survival, S.E., M.M., Dosen Pembimbing 2: Dr. Adya Hermawati, S.E., M.M.. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap kinerja pegawai yang dimoderasi etos kerja. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai Dinas Perpustakaan Umum dan Arsip Daerah Kota Malang yang berjumlah 63 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah total sampling. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa kecerdasan emosional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Etos kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Etos kerja berperan dalam memoderasi pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap kinerja pegawai. Variabel pemoderasi pada penelitian ini (etos kerja) memberikan efek memperkuat dan sangat besar pengaruhnya.Kata Kunci : Kecerdasan Emosional, Etos Kerja, Kinerja Pegawai AbstractKrispin Agustina Moula, Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Widyagama University Malang, 2022. The Effect of Emotional Intelligence on Employee Performance Moderated by Work Ethic (Study at the Public Library and Regional Archives Service of Malang City). Supervisor 1: Dr. Survival, S.E., M.M., Supervisor 2: Dr. Adya Hermawati, S.E., M.M.. This study aims to determine the effect of emotional intelligence on employee performance moderated by work ethic. The population in this study were all employees of the Public Library and Regional Archives Service of Malang City, amounting to 63 people. The sampling technique in this research is total sampling. The data analysis technique in this study used Partial Least Square (PLS).The results of the study concluded that emotional intelligence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Work ethic has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Work ethic plays a role in moderating the influence of emotional intelligence on employee performance. The moderating variable in this study (work ethic) has a strengthening effect and has a very large effect.Keywords: Job characteristics, Job Stress, Loyalty
