<![CDATA[Indonesia is one of the fourth largest coal exporting countries in the world to date with Indonesian coal reserves of 29,078.28 million tons. Kalimantan Island and Sumatra Island are two provinces that have large coal reserves, so it is possible that many coal mining cases have occurred in these provinces. Usually cases are triggered because the business area is close to community settlements so that problems that arise in terms of the environment generated by coal companies are generally related from a socio-cultural perspective to land conflicts. In addition, the most serious problem is also due to the roles of political actors at the central to regional levels who contribute to the success of the coal mining activities. This research will examine how the impact of the operations of PT BISM (Bina Insan Sukses Mandiri), which is engaged in coal mining, has on the impacts of socio-politics, socio-culture and the environment. This writing uses 3 variables and 6 indicators to measure the impact of the operationalization of PT Bina Insan Sukses Mandiri in terms of socio-political, socio-cultural and also physical environment. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques by means of observation, interviews and documentation.]]>
