<![CDATA[This study aims to find the main character’s conflict in the novel On Aship by NH. Dini. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method with the data source in the from of the novel “One Ship” by Nh. Dini, the 8” edition published by PT Gramedia Pustaka Utama, Jakarta in 2010. This research is literature study using reading and note-taking techniques. After analyzing the data, it is known that the characters in the story hare problems or confilicts that cannot be separated from the problems of human life in society. Conflicts in the novel On A Ship by Nh. Dini include internal conflicts, namely, sadness, no mone, bored with work, doubts and disappointment, external, conflict is challenging anger, selfishness, worrying, quarreling, angry and suspicious.
