Abstract

The study in this study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the home-visiting method on motivation and thematic learning outcomes after the COVID-19 pandemic. This study used a pre-experiment with a one-group pre-test-post-test design. Probabilistic sampling with cluster random sampling. Class VI B has a capacity of 24 students in the experimental class, and multiple-choice learning outcomes test questions and questionnaires on learning motivation are used as measuring instruments. Analyzes were performed with a normality test with the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, hypothesis tests of the two variables learning outcome and learning motivation were determined using t-tests with SPSS 24 software, and validity tests were used.Use the difference between pre-test and post-test values. This study found that the home visit method was used more effectively improving local learning outcomes and motivation among students.
