Abstract

Research on the level of apprehension and self efficacy of Universitas Terbuka’s students to E-learning was aimed at investigating the level of apprehension and self efficacy to e-learning as well as to prove the reasearch hypothesis that the apprehension stages has a significant corellation to the level of self efficacy in using e-leaning. The population of the study was Universitas Terbuka’s students registered to courses that offer online tutorials. The sample was choosen by a purposive random sampling technique from students from 4 faculties and magister program taken courses offered by online tutorial and registered by the most of the students. The result of the research gave a general picture of students’ self efficacy in using the Internet make use of e-learning in their study activities was considering in average category. The average score of students’ capability of using Internet was 3.73 from 6 Likert scale. The highest score of students’ capability in using the Internet was their ability in reading text. On the other hand, capability that considered low was students’s capability in creating a simple web page using teks, pictures, and links. The students’ awareness in using e-learning for their learning activities was varied. Based on 54.76% students who were using e-learing , 2.38% were in management stage, 21.43% at consequence stage, 9.52% in collaboration stage, and 21,43% in refocusing stage. The findings suggest a positive correlation between the students’ self-efficacy level in using Internet with their awareness in using e-learning.

Abstract

The study was aimed at getting information about the use of elearningby UT's students in their learning process. Specifically,the study was conducted in order to collect information aboutfactors that encouraged students to use Internet and the problemsthat students faced in using Internet in their learning process.The population of this study was UT's students who registeredcourses with flnline learning resourres. The sample was selectedby a purposive random sampling techuique with the criteria: UT'sstudents from four faculties and a fJOstwaduate school and coursesthat were registered by many students. Data collected weredescriptively analyzedThe results of the study showed that f'1ctors encouraging students touse Internet in their learning process are the flexibility of use oftime for learning, the multiuse of Internet: for learning and fordoing works; and the speed of getting information. Even though,the students faced problems in using Iniernet for their learningprocess, such as geographical condition, the bad connection ofInternet, financial problem, the leek of facility (the provision ofcomputer), the lack of given information about Internet, and thelack of skills in using Internet.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the motivation and emotional intelligence of students' learning independence in Online Learning Schools in Batam. The research method uses a quantitative approach, correlational design. The population of this study were 339 students. Sampling technique using disproportionate stratified random sampling set a sample of 183 respondents. Data collection techniques through questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the variables of motivation and emotional intelligence had a significant and simultaneous effect on students' learning independence. The results of the t test show that the motivation variable has a significant effect on student learning independence, and emotional intelligence also has a significant effect on learning independence. The coefficient of determination is 0.315 or shows that 31.5% of students' learning independence is influenced simultaneously by the variables of motivation and emotional intelligence.

Abstract

Abstract. Era disrupsi teknologi yang dipercepat dengan pandemic Covid-19 menuntut guru untuk dapat mengikuti percepatan penggunaan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi melalui pelatihan berbasis TI. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pelatihan pembelajaran sekolah berbasis teknologi informasi komunikasi dan kompetensi pedagogik terhadap profesionalisme guru SD Muhammadiyah Plus Kota Batam. Peneliti memakai metode dengan pendekatan kuantitatif desain korelasional. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan non probability (sensus) sebanyak 48 responden. Kuesioner dan dokumentasi dipergunakan sebagai teknik pengambilan data. Teknik analisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif, dan statistic inferensial dengan regresi linear berganda. Dari hasil analisas regresi berganda dapat disimpulkan bahwa variable pelatihan, dan kompetensi pedagogoik secara serentak dan signifikan berpengaruh terhadap profesionalisme guru SD Muhammdiyah Plus Kota Batam. Hasil uji t disimpulkan bahwa peubah pelatihan mempunyai pengaruh yang bermakna bagi profesionalisme guru. Demikian pula kompetensi pedagogik berpengaruh secara bermakna terhadap profesionalisme guru dengan taraf signifikan 0,05. Oleh karena itu, riset ini menyimpulkan bahwa Pelatihan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi informasi komunikasi dan kompetensi pedagogik berpengaruh secara bermakna bagi profesionalisme guru

Abstract

Learning is currently slowly leading to a major change, namely the industrial revolution 4.0. The purpose of this study was to describe parents' learning perceptions in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era and students' learning perceptions in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era at SDN 222 Inpres Pali, Tana Toraja Regency. The approach used in this research is a mixed methods model with a sequential exploratory model. The mixed methods sequential exploration model is a research method that combines qualitative and quantitative approaches to obtain valid data. The data in this study consisted of two data sources, namely primary and secondary data. Qualitative results were obtained in a structured way, the researcher conducted interviews with 4 parents, representatives of guardians of lower and upper grade students. Also, among the students involved, there were 4 people representing upper and lower classes. Several themes were formulated in the results of the study to represent the responses of the informants, including school descriptions, usage, understanding, learning practices, positive and negative impacts, and views on learning with technology and communication tools. Quantitative data from questionnaire data. From the results and discussion of parents' and students' perceptions of learning in the age of Industrial Revolution 4.0, SDN 222 Inpres Pali students and parents to use technology, communication and information tools positively, to learn with technology and means of communication had a positive impact on parents and students. The biggest benefit is to help students overcome learning difficulties, such as teachers and parents.

Abstract

The study in this study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the home-visiting method on motivation and thematic learning outcomes after the COVID-19 pandemic. This study used a pre-experiment with a one-group pre-test-post-test design. Probabilistic sampling with cluster random sampling. Class VI B has a capacity of 24 students in the experimental class, and multiple-choice learning outcomes test questions and questionnaires on learning motivation are used as measuring instruments. Analyzes were performed with a normality test with the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, hypothesis tests of the two variables learning outcome and learning motivation were determined using t-tests with SPSS 24 software, and validity tests were used.Use the difference between pre-test and post-test values. This study found that the home visit method was used more effectively improving local learning outcomes and motivation among students.

Abstract

Abstract: Technological sophistication, making interactive digital teaching materials easier. Interactive digital teaching materials make it easier for students to study independently according to their abilities and learning speed. Currently the ability of teachers in South Tangerang still needs to be improved in blinding Interactive Digital Teaching Materials. The community service program provided to participants is carried out using a combination of online training and mentoring methods, combined with face-to-face meetings. In general, training and assistance for the development of Interactive Digital Teaching Materials gave good results, where 75% of participants completed their products. Participants also expressed satisfaction with the program. This condition can be said to be good, but to further increase participant satisfaction in the next training, input from participants can be considered.            Keywords: digital teaching materials; learn to be independent; teaching materials  Abstrak: Kecanggihan teknologi, membuat bahan ajar digital interaktif menjadi lebih mudah. Bahan ajar digital interaktif memudahkan siswa belajar mandiri sesuai dengan kemampuan dan kecepatan belajarnya. Saat ini kemampuan guru di Tangerang Selatan masih perlu ditingkatkan dalam membutakan Bahan Ajar Digital Interaktif. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang diberikan kepada peserta dilakukan dengan menggunakan kombinasi metode pelatihan dan pendampingan secara daring, dipadukan dengan pertemuan tatap muka. Secara umum pelatihan dan pendampingan pengembangan Bahan Ajar Digital Interaktif memberikan hasil yang baik, dimana 75% peserta menyelesaikan produknya. Peserta juga menyatakan puas dengan program tersebut. Kondisi ini dapat dikatakan baik, namun untuk lebih meningkatkan kepuasan peserta pada pelatihan selanjutnya, masukan dari peserta dapat menjadi pertimbangan. Kata kunci: bahan ajar; bahan ajar digital; belajar mandiri

Abstract

One of the common issues frequently complained about by students pursuing distance education is the delay in responses from professors or tutors in online discussion forums and the assessment of assignments on the e-learning platform. Students require timely feedback as an essential part of their learning process. Feedback given promptly plays a crucial role in enhancing students' motivation for self-directed learning. This research aims to explore students' responses to the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the Moodle e-learning platform at Universitas Terbuka. A survey was conducted involving 435 students from 40 branch offices of Universitas Terbuka located in Indonesia and abroad. Data were collected through a survey method that began with the design of a questionnaire using Google Forms, which was then distributed through student WhatsApp groups. The survey instrument was designed to gauge students' responses to the AI features provided, including feedback for essay assignments, plagiarism checking support, learning materials with automatic assessment, course recommendations based on student profiles, and predictive grades based on student scores and participation. Respondents were asked to provide their answers on a Likert scale (1-10) and open-ended questions. The research results indicate that the majority of respondents gave positive feedback on all presented features. This positive response suggests that the integration of AI into the e-learning platform has the potential to enhance the learning experience and academic performance of students.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemanfaatan Chat GPT oleh guru Sekolah Dasar di Kelompok Kerja Guru Wilayah II Kecamatan Dedai, khususnya dalam meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik dan profesional. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan metode campuran (Mix Methods). Pendekatan desain penelitian metode campuran melibatkan proses pengumpulan, analisis, dan penggabungan hasil penelitian kuantitatif dan kualitatif dalam satu penelitian menyeluruh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan Chat GPT berada pada kategori sedang dengan persentase 58,33%. Penggunaan Chat GPT memberikan manfaat signifikan dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru, terutama dalam memahami karakteristik murid, menyusun kurikulum interaktif, serta menerapkan teori pembelajaran. Guru merasa lebih percaya diri dalam menyusun bahan ajar yang kreatif dan efektif. Di sisi kompetensi profesional, Chat GPT membantu guru dalam menguasai materi pelajaran dan mengelola kelas dengan lebih baik. Meskipun demikian, terdapat tantangan terkait waktu dan praktek yang perlu diatasi untuk memaksimalkan potensi Chat GPT. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pemanfaatan termasuk kemudahan akses dan antarmuka yang user-friendly, meskipun kendala seperti keterbatasan waktu eksplorasi fitur, informasi yang kadang kurang spesifik, dan kebutuhan untuk memverifikasi informasi menjadi tantangan. Pelatihan dan bimbingan yang lebih intensif diperlukan agar penggunaan Chat GPT dapat optimal. Secara keseluruhan, sikap dan persepsi guru terhadap penggunaan Chat GPT sangat positif, dan mereka melihat potensi besar dalam meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran serta kompetensi sebagai pendidik. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan Chat GPT memberikan dampak positif terhadap kompetensi pedagogik dan profesional guru, meskipun tantangan dalam penggunaannya perlu diatasi melalui dukungan berkelanjutan.Kata Kunci: Pemanfaatan Chat GPT,Kompetensi Pedagogik,Kompetensi ProfesionalABSTRACTThis research aims to analyze the use of ChatGPT by elementary school teachers in the Region II Teacher Working Group, Dedai District, especially in improving pedagogical and professional competence.This research uses a mixed methods approach. The mixed methods research design approach involves the process of collecting, analyzing, and combining quantitative and qualitative research results in one comprehensive research. The research results show that ChatGPT utilization is in the medium category with a percentage of 58.33%. Using ChatGPT provides significant benefits in increasing teacher competence, especially in understanding student characteristics, developing interactive curricula, and applying learning theories. Teachers feel more confident in preparing creative and effective teaching materials. On the professional competency side, ChatGPT helps teachers master subject matter and manage classes better. However, there are time- and practice-related challenges that need to be overcome to maximize ChatGPT's potential. Factors influencing utilization include ease of access and a user-friendly interface, although obstacles such as limited time for feature exploration, sometimes less specific information, and the need to verify information are challenging. More intensive training and guidance is needed so that ChatGPT can be used optimally. Overall, teachers' attitudes and perceptions towards the use of ChatGPT are very positive, and they see great potential in improving the quality of teaching and competence as educators. This research concludes that the use of ChatGPT has a positive impact on teachers' pedagogical and professional competence, although challenges in its use need to be overcome through ongoing support.Keywords: Utilization of Chat GPT, Pedagogical Competency, Professional Competency
