Abstract

The problem of this research was how the teaching learning process of writing explanation texts by using project based learning that was used by the Indonesian languange teachers in MTs Negeri 2 Bandarlampung. The aimed of this research was to describe the teaching learning process of writing explanation texts by using project based learning that was used by Indonesian languange teachers in MTs Negeri 2 Bandarlampung. This research used descriptive qualitative research and the instruments of this research used interview, observation, and documentation. The data analysis of this research used some stages, they were data reduction, data serving, and data verification. The result showed that in teaching writing explanation text with project based learning, the teacher used his own lesson plan of project based learning that applying scientific approach activities, they were observing, questioning, attempting, comprehending, and communicating.Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah pembelajaran menulis teks eksplanasi dengan model project based learning oleh guru bahasa Indonesia di MTs Negeri 2 Bandarlampung. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan pembelajaran menulis teks eksplanasi dengan model project based learning oleh guru bahasa Indonesia di MTs Negeri 2 Bandarlampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, pengambilan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam membelajarkan menulis teks eksplanasi dengan model project based learning, guru menggunakan RPP model project based learning yang disusun sendiri dengan menerapkan pendekatan saintifik melalui kegiatan mengamati, menanya, mencoba, menalar, dan mengomunikasikan.Kata kunci: pendekatan, rpp model project based learning, teks eksplanasi.
