Abstract

Electronic devices such as sound systems portables often experience sound interference due to the influence of cellular telephones (nearby) where periodic signals from cellular devices cause interference in the sound frequency to the sound system. The amount of signal interference when the cellphone or cellular mobile station is close to a portable sound system is a concern in this study. To overcome this problem, adesigned shielding was.shielding Thisprevents other signals from entering the circuit. This design aims to eliminate or reduce the interference received by portable sound systems against cellphone signal interference. In addition, the shielding does not affect the performance of a portable sound system. And this design is cheaper and easier because only aluminum with a thickness of 1.5 mm is needed. Shielding in this design can reduce radiation emission on mobile phones by 44.39 dB and has met the standards set (CISPR 22 class B).
