<![CDATA[One of the societal cultures that can be studied is the belief system. On this occasion, the writer chose to examine the belief system regarding the concept of divinity in the Dayak Banuaq community in East Kalimantan in the novel entitled Ceremony by Korrie Layun Rampan. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method that is library research and uses a literary anthropological approach in the study of animism concepts. The problem that is raised through this novel is about the belief system of the Dayak Banuaq community which is still animistic at the level of the divine concept they embrace. Dayak Banuaq still believe in many Gods who they consider their respective ancestors to have a position and role in life. The Banuaq concept of divinity is symbolized by several elements of nature.]]>
