Family communication has a very important role in the learning process of children. One of the most basic functions of communication is to educate. Therefore, family communication plays an important role, one of the factors to increase children’s motivation to learn. This study aims to answer the formulation of problems related to “Is there an influence between family communication on the learning motivation of class VI student at MIS Al-Hikmah Sidang Tebas District Academic Year 2020/2021. This research was conducted with a quantitative approach with the associative method, namely knowing the effect or the relationship between Family Communication (X) and learning motivation (Y). The results of this study indicate that the family communication variable has a positive effect on learning motivation by 28,7% and the remaining 71,3% is influenced by other factors.
