<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to analyze whether there was a significant relationship between the Role of the Village Head and Community Participation in Forest Conservation in Sayoang Village, East Bacan District, South Halmahera Regency. This type of research is associative research with a quantitative approach. The data collection techniques used are the interview method, the observation method, the questionnaire distribution method and the documentary study method. The data analysis technique used is statistical product moment correlation. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence from the role of the village head on community participation in preserving the forest in Sayoang Village, Bacan Timur District, South Halmahera Regency which is the focus of this research, thus it can be said that the better the role of the village head, so that community participation is also increasing in maintaining forest sustainability in Sayoang Village, East Bacan District, South Halmahera Regency.]]>
