This study emphasizes the important role of home industry as a support for the tourism sector in the village. The method used in this research is qualitative with data sources obtained to find data from several people and apparatus of the Ngadirejo village as informants and the samples used are references or secondary data sources that are relevant to issues concerning home industry and tourism. The results of this study are first, basically the people of Ngadirejo Village are transitioning from rural communities to urban industries which are marked by the emergence of home industries which are expected to support the tourism sector. However, the government, which acts as a regulator, in carrying out its functions cannot be felt by the community.
