<![CDATA[This study aims to improve speaking skills in class IXC students at SMP Negeri 2 Temanggung by using record role play presentations on procedure text material. This research is a classroom action research. The subjects involved in this study were 28 class IXC students at SMP Negeri 2 Temanggung in the 2014/2015 academic year, consisting of 11 male students and 17 female students. The results of this study were improving students' English speaking skills through the Recorded Role Play Presentation Technique in learning procedural texts for class IXC students at SMP Negeri 2 Temanggung in the 2014/2015 academic year. The students' English speaking skills through the Recorded Role Play Presentation Technique increased by 7% and their learning mastery increased by 43%. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara pada siswa kelas IXC di SMP Negeri 2 Temanggung dengan penggunaan record role play presentation pada materi teks prosedur. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini adalah 28 siswa kelas IXC di SMP Negeri 2 Temanggung tahun pelajaran 2014/2015, yang terdiri dari 11 siswa laki laki dan 17 siswa perempuan. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini adalah peningkatan keterampilan berbicara bahasa Inggris siswa melalui Recorded Role Play Presentation Technique dalam pembelajaran teks prosedur siswa kelas IXC di SMP Negeri 2 Temanggung tahun pelajaran 2014/2015.
