<![CDATA[Kepulauan Seribu mempunyai pulau – pulau kecil berjumlah kurang lebih 110 pulau, Dari beberapa pulau kecil yang tertera terdapat Pulau Panggang yang juga termasuk dalam Kabupaten Administrasi memiliki penduduk pulau yang cukup besar dan padat dikarenakan pulau panggang memiliki luas 9 Hektar. Para penduduk di Pulau Panggang juga mayoritas beprofesi sebagai nelayan. Oleh karena itu pada penciptaan karya ini, Peran penulis sebagai editor dalam pembuatan karya dokumenter biografi yang berjudul “POTRET MASYARAKAT” EPISODE "NELAYAN PULAU PANGGANG" adalah sebagai editor. Karya yang kami buatan ini film dokumenter di pulau panggang kepulauan seribu, Dengan memilih narasumber yang bernama Moh Sobri atau sering disebut bapak Keppe yang berusia 56 tahun yang sudah cukup tua usianya, Penulis merumuskan masalah bagaimana peran seorang editor yang mempunyai tanggung jawab pada tahap pra, produksi, dan pasca produksi ditahapan ini editor berperan penting terhadap semua segi teknis pada proses editing berlangsung. Salah satu peran penting editor yakni menyusun footage video menjadi alur sebuah cerita yang utuh. Dengan begitu penulis menghasilkan program dokumenter dengan manfaat secara Akademis, Praktis dan Sosial. Pada penelitian ini metode pengumpulan data yang Penulis gunakan yakni metode kualitatif untuk penulisan jurnal, Maka menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data seperti, observasi, literasi serta melakukan wawancara langsung dengan narasumber. Berdasarkan hasil akhir yang di dapat dalam sebuah produksi ini Pencipta bertanggung jawab mengenai sebuah isi cerita dan teknis editing, Pencipta cukup puas dengan hasil akhir yang diciptakan. Dengan harapan pencipta bisa menghibur bagi semua orang yang telah menonton film dokumenter ini.Kata Kunci : Pulau Panggang, Nelayan, Potret Masyarakat, Dokumenter Nelayan ABSTRACT The Thousand Islands has small islands totaling approximately 110 islands. In this study, the data collection method that the author uses is a qualitative method for journal writing, so using data collection techniques such as observation, literacy and conducting direct interviews with sources. Based on the final results obtained in a production, the Creator is responsible for the story content and technical editing, the Creator is quite satisfied with the final result created.
