<![CDATA[The church is God's people who have been called by God out of the darkness of the world into the light of Christ. Christ is the head, believers are members of the body, then Christ is the head of the church and we are members of the church body. However, many people do not know that his body is the Altar and Altar of God, where God dwells in the body and in the soul of man. This article aims to describe the human understanding of the church to believers today. The method used is library research with methods related to library analysis from other sources. The results of the research are three churches, namely the visible church, the invisible church and the heavenly church which should not be separated because each other complements each other and through this church a person can reach chruch on heaven where he or she obtains perfection in Christ.AbstrakGereja adalah umat Allah yang telah dipanggil Allah keluar dari kegelapan dunia masuk ke dalam terang Kristus. Kristus adalah kepala, orang percaya sebagai anggota tubuh, maka Kristus sebagai kepala gereja dan kita sebagai anggota tubuh gereja. Namun, banyak orang tidak mengetahui bahwa tubuhnya sebagai Altar dan Mezbah Allah, dimana Allah berdiam di dalam tubuh dan di jiwa manusia. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemahaman manusia tentang gereja kepada semua orang. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian pustaka dengan metode yang berkaitan dengan analisa pustaka yang sumber lainnya. Hasil penelitian adalah tiga gereja yaitu gereja kelihatan, tidak kelihatan dan surgawi yang tidak boleh dipisahkan sebab satu sama lain saling melengkapi dan melalui gereja ini, seseorang dapat mencapai chruch on heaven dimana ia memperoleh kesempurnaan di dalam Kristus atau theosis.]]>
