Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk memaparkan tujuan pendidikan islam yang dimuat dalam materi ajar Bahasa Indonesia di SMP Bandung Islamic School (BISc). Metode penelitian yang dilakukan ialah metode analisis isi (content analysis) Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan (KTSP) SMP BISc dan materi ajar Bahasa Indonesia kelas VII SMP BISc berdasarkan kurikulum darurat. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa materi ajar Bahasa Indonesia mengacu pada Al-Qur’an dan As-Sunnah sebagai upaya mewujudkan tujuan pendidikan islam dalam pembelajaran umum. Melalui model teks pada materi teks deskripsi, teks narasi, teks prosedur, serta surat pribadi dan surat dinas yang disajikan secara kontekstual di SMP BISc, telah merepresentasikan tujuan pendidikan berupa pengupayaan pembentukan akhlak mulia, persiapan bekal kehidupan di dunia dan akhirat, pertimbangan manfaat segala ilmu, menumbuhkan semangat imiah, dan menggali potensi vokasional bagi para siswa. This study intends to describe the objectives of Islamic education contained in Bahasa Indonesia teaching materials at SMP Bandung Islamic School (BISc). The research method used is the content analysis method for SMP BISc of Education Unit Level Curriculum (KTSP) and 7th grade Bahasa Indonesia teaching materials. The results of the study indicate that the Indonesian language teaching materials in SMP BISc refer to the The Qur'an and As-Sunnah as an effort to realize the goals of Islamic education in general learning. Through text models on descriptive text material, narrative texts, procedural texts, as well as personal and official letters that are presented contextually at SMP BISc, they have represented the purpose of education in the form of efforts to form moral character, prepare provisions for life in the world and the hereafter, consider the benefits of all knowledge, foster a scientific spirit, and explore the vocational potential for students.
