<![CDATA[ABSTRAK WHO memperkirakan jumlah ada 285 juta orang yang mengalami ganguan penglihatan di dunia,dimana 39 juta mengalami kebutaan dan 246 juta memiliki low vision. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh Tehnik Relaksasi guided Imagery Terhadap Tingkat Kecemasan Pasien Pre Operasi Katarak Di Klinik Utama Mitra Mata Kota Bengkulu Tahun 2022.Metode dalam penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif, menggunakan penelitian quasy eksperiman dengan pendekatan pre post test one group design. Sampel dalam penelitian berjumlah 18 responden yang dipilih sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji statistik chi-square. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan nilai mean kecemasan sebelum diberikan intervensi adalah 18, dan mean setelah intervensi adalah 12. Didapatkan mean kecemasan pre-post adalah 6,000 dengan standar deviasinya adalah 1,495. Hasil uji statistic Paired T Test didapat nilai ρ value = 0,000< α = 0,05, H0 ditolak maka Ha diterima artinya ada perbedaan rata-rata sebelum dan sesudah pemberian Tehnik Relaksasi Guided Imagery Terhadap Tingkat Kecemasan Pada Pasien Pre Operasi Katarak di Klinik Utama Mitra Mata Bengkulu Tahun 2022.Guide imagery dapat menurunkan kecemasan pada pasien katarak pre operasi. The sample in the study was 18 respondents who were selected according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. This study used the chi-square statistical test.The results of this study showed that the mean value of anxiety before the intervention was given was 18, and the mean after the intervention was 12. It was found that the mean pre-post anxiety was 6,000 with a standard deviation of 1,495. The results of the Paired T Test statistical test obtained ρ value = 0.000 < α = 0.05, H0 was rejected, so Ha was accepted, meaning that there is an average difference before and after administration of the Guided Imagery Relaxation Technique on Anxiety Levels in Pre-Cataract Patients at Mitra Utama Clinic Bengkulu Eyes in 2022.Guide imagery can reduce anxiety in preoperative cataract patients.
