Abstract

Diabetes tipe 2 (DMT2) paling sering berkembang pada orang di atas usia 45 tahun, tetapi semakin banyak anak-anak, remaja, dan dewasa muda juga mengembangkannya. Prevalensi pasien pengidap diabetes di Indonesia mencapai 6,2 persen, yang artinya ada lebih dari 10,8 juta orang menderita diabetes per tahun 2020. Data diambil pada pasien diabetes mellitus tipe II dengan komplikasi hipertensi dan/atau hiperlipidemia. Metode penelitian dengan desain cross sectional, dengan instumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner Medication Adherence Report Scale (MARS) dan catatan paremeter penyakit dari rekam medis pasien. Hasil penelitian ditemukan ada hubungan langsung antara kepatuhan terhadap luaran terapi pada pasien diabetes komplikasi hipertensi dan/atau hiperlipidemia. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah keterlibatan aktif dan kolaboratif pasien dengan penyedia layanan kesehatan bekerja sama menetapkan tujuan pengobatan dan rejimen medis melalui kepatuhan untuk menghasilkan luaran terapi yang optimal. AbstractType 2 diabetes (DMT2) most commonly develops by age 45, but a growing number of children, adolescents, and young adults are also developing it. The prevalence of patients with diabetes in Indonesia reaches 6.2 percent, meaning that there are more than 10.8 million people suffering from diabetes by the year 2020. The data were taken in patients with type II diabetes mellitus with complications of hypertension and/or hyperlipidemia. The research method is a cross sectional design, with research instruments using the Medication Adherence Report Scale (MARS) questionnaire and disease parameter records from the patient's medical record. The results showed that there was a direct relationship between adherence to therapy outcomes in patients with diabetes complications found hypertension and/or hyperlipidemia. The conclusion of this study is the active and collaborative involvement of patients with health care providers working together to set treatment goals and medical regimens through adherence to producing optimal therapeutic outcomes.Keywords: Diabetes mellitus, Adherence, Outcome of therapy
