<![CDATA[ABSTRAKPenelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian kuis berbantuan media Kahoot! di awal pembelajaran pada model Discovery Learning terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X MIPA SMAN 3 Makassar pada materi pokok reaksi reduksi oksidasi. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah posttest only control group design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah Kelas X MIPA 3 sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan X MIPA 1 sebagai kelompok kontrol yang masing-masing berjumlah 36 orang. Instrument penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif dan teknik analisis statistik inferensial. Hasil analisis statistik deskriptif kelompok eksperimen diperoleh rata-rata hasil belajar yaitu 80,89 dan kelompok kontrol 59,83. Hasil analisis statistik inferensial terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik menunjukkan data kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol berasal dari populasi yang homogen tetapi tidak terdistribusi normal. Oleh karena data yang tidak terdistribusi normal, maka uji hipotesis yang digunakan adalah uji Mann-Whitney. Hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh nilai Zhitung > Ztabel (4,76 > 1,64). Hal ini menujukkan pemberian kuis berbantuan media Kahoot! di awal pembelajaran pada model Discovery Learning berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik Kelas X MIPA SMAN 3 Makassar pada materi pokok reaksi reduksi oksidasi.Kata Kunci : Kuis, Kahoot!, Discovery Learning, Hasil Belajar ABSTRACTThis study is a quasi-experimental study that aims to find out the influence of Kahoot! media-assisted quiz at the beginning of learning on the Discovery Learning model on the learning outcomes of students of class X MIPA SMAN 3 Makassar on the main material of oxidation reduction reaction. The research design used is posttest only control group design. The sample in the study was Class X MIPA 3 as an experimental group and X MIPA 1 as a control group of 36 people each. The research instruments used are tests of learning outcomes and observation sheets of learning implementation. The study used descriptive statistical analysis techniques and inferential statistical analysis techniques. The results of descriptive statistical analysis of the experimental group obtained an average of 80,89 study results and a control group of 59,83. The results of an inferential statistical analysis of learners' learning outcomes showed experimental group and control group data came from a homogeneous but not normally distributed population. Because the data is not normally distributed, the hypothesis test used is the Mann-Whitney test. The results of the hypothesis test obtained the value of Zhitung > Ztabel (4,76 > 1,64).
