This study aims to determine the perceptions of parents and teachers of face-to-face learning during the covid-19 period in the village of Ranub Dong. This research is a qualitative research in which the results of this study were obtained from the process of interviews, observation and documentation. Perceptions from parents and teachers say that face-to-face learning today is more effective than online learning or online learning, because children already understand if they see the learning process directly, whereas if learning is done online children get bored easily. in the face-to-face learning process and their enthusiasm is reduced and it is also difficult for parents to share their time well.
