<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of group guidance with problem solving techniques to increase learning independence in class X students of SMK Negeri 3 Serang City in the 2022/2023 academic year. The study used a pre-experimental method with one group pre-test and post-test design. Determination of the research sample using purposive sampling. The results of the pre-test showed that from a total of 227 students, 20 were in the low category, 180 were in the medium category, and 27 were in the high category. The results showed that the average pre-test was 50.6%, while the post-test increased by 77.5%. Testing the research hypothesis using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, there are differences in the learning independence of students before and after treatment is carried out through group guidance with problem solving techniques. With Asymp results. Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.005 is lower than 0.05, then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Thus, these results indicate that group guidance with problem solving techniques can increase the learning independence of class X students at SMK Negeri 3 Serang City in the 2022/2023 academic year. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui pengaruh bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik problem solving untuk meningkatkan kemandirian belajar pada peserta didik kelas X SMK Negeri 3 Kota Serang tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Penelitian menggunakan metode pra-eksperimen dengan one group pre-test and post-test design. Penentuan sampel penelitian menggunakan purposive sampling. Hasil pre-test menunjukkan dari total 227 peserta didik 20 berada pada kategori rendah, 180 berada pada kategori sedang, dan 27 berada pada kategori tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata pre test sebesar 50,6% sedangkan post test terjadi peningkatan sebesar 77,5%. Uji hipotesis penelitian menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, terdapat perbedaan kemandirian belajar peserta didik sebelum dan setelah dilaksanakan treatment melalui bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik problem solving. Dengan hasil Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,005 lebih rendah dari 0,05 maka Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak.
