Debt is a common thing that happens among people. Someone can be in debt for various reasons. Both to meet basic needs (dhorury) or other needs that are hajiyah (secondary) in nature such as housing, clothing to cover the genitals and tahsiniyat (complementary) needs such as cars, motorcycles, cellphones, watches and others. Islamic Shari'ah allows adherents to be in debt, provided that the debt is paid at a later date. Don't forget, delay payments or even deliberately owe with the intention of not paying.
