Abstract

Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana tingkat berpikir kreatif siswa kelas VII C SMP Negeri 1 Trangkil melalui soal open ended materi aritmatika sosial. Dokumentasi, tes dan wawancara digunakan sebagai cara pengumpulan data sedangkan reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi data sebagai teknik analisisnya. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu (1) siswa dengan kemampuan matematis tinggi memiliki tingkat kemampuan berpikir yang sangat kreatif (TKBK 4), (2) siswa dengan kemampuan matematis sedang memiliki tingkat kemampuan berpikir yang kreatif (TKBK 3) dan (3) siswa dengan kemampuan matematis rendah memiliki tingkat kemampuan berpikir yang kurang kreatif (TKBK 1).Kata kunci: Aritmatika Sosial, Tingkat Berpikir Kreatif, Soal Open Ended AbstractThis qualitative descriptive study aims to describe how the level of creative thinking of class VII C students of SMP Negeri 1 Trangkil through open-ended questions on social arithmetic material. Documentation, tests, and interviews are used as data collection methods, while data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions, and data verification are used as analysis techniques. The results of this study were (1) students with high mathematical abilities had very creative thinking skills (TKBK 4), (2) students with moderate mathematical abilities have the ability to think creatively (TKBK 3) and (3) students with low mathematical abilities have less creative thinking skills (TKBK 1).Keywords: Social Arithmetic, Level of Creative Thinking, Open-Ended Questions
