Fenomena Rekrutmen Artis Sebagai Calon Legislatif Ditinjau dari Perspektif Aksiologi

Analyzing the Phenomenon of the Recruiting Asrtists As Legislative Candidates Examined from the Perspective of Axiology, Politic Parties tend to use the popularity of artists in general election being one of the strategy by a lot of politic parties in Indonesia. This research used a qualitative approach using literature review. The results of the analysis in this article can be viewed in two sides. The first side, the thing can be understood, because the artists are popular in sociecty. In the other side, the phenomenon can be a risk for quality of the candidates, due to not all artists have have great capacity and competency for being a legislator. The phenomenon affects discussion in the public space and it implicates the society's sovereignty as the main sovereignty in the democratic state and the benefits that will be felt by the society of Indonesia. Therefore, researchers are interested in conducting research on this phenomenon.  Abstrak Menganalisis  Fenomena rekrutment Artis sebagai calon legislatif ditinjau dari perspektif Aksiologi, kecendrungan Partai Politik memanfaatan popularitas yang dimiliki oleh calon artis dalam pesta demokrasi menjadi salah satu satu strategi oleh mayoritas partai politik di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui penelitian literatur kepustakaan. Hasil analisis dalam artikel ini adalah fenomena rekrutmen artis sebagai calon legislatif dapat dilihat dari dua sisi. Di satu sisi, hal ini dapat dianggap positif, karena artis memiliki popularitas di masyarakat. Di sisi lain, hal ini dapat menimbulkan risiko terhadap kualitas calon legislatif yang diusung, karena tidak semua artis memiliki kapasitas dan kompetensi yang memadai untuk menjadi seorang legislator. fenomena tersebut berdampak  terhadap diskusi di ruang publik serta implikasinya terhadap kedaulatan rakyat sebagai pemegang kedaulatan utama dalam Negara demokrasi dan kebermanfaatan yang akan dirasakan oleh rakyat Indonesia. Oleh karena itu, peneliti menjadi tertarik melakukan penelitian tentang fenomena tersebut.
