This research is motivated by concern for children who often enjoy songs that are not appropriate for their age and low education. Furthermore, in the context of Christianity, children are shown more secular shows than various spiritual shows, for example, television, YouTube, TikTok or online games which do not educate their spirituality. Most of the information conveyed in the media is entertainment which tends to be adult jokes and does not build faith. Therefore, this article aims to examine Bible story-based children's hymns in their role as a medium for teaching faith. Reflecting on Moses' song to the Israelites in Deuteronomy 32:1-43 which functions to teach faith to the second generation in the desert, the researcher also recommends today's educators to make children's songs based on Bible stories as a medium in teaching faith to children. Using qualitative method by observing and studying literature, researchers browse books, articles and other documents related to the topic of discussion. The results of this study are educators can make Bible story-based hymns a medium for teaching faith by paying attention to several things, namely: the message contained in the song must be clear, the choice of language is interesting, the lyrics are not too long and easy to memorize, and the rhythm is easy to sing.
