ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil kelayakan dan menghasilkan karakteristik modul pembelajaram fisika berbasis pemecahan masalah. Metode penelitian R&D dengan model 3D yang terdiri dari tiga tahap yaitu pendefinisian (observasi, studi literatur, analisis kebutuhan, dan analisis bahan ajar), perancangan (validasi desain dan revisi desain ) dan pengembangan (validasi modul dan revisi modul) oleh Thiagrajan (1974). Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu lembar observasi, lembar angket guru dan siswa, lembar penilaian ahli. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul fisika berbasis pemecahan masalah yang dikembangkan termasuk dalam kategori cukup valid dengan aspek isi 71%, aspek penyajian sebesar 75%, aspek bahasa sebesar 75% dan aspek pemecahan masalah sebesar 71% serta kegrafikan sebesar 75% memiliki kriteria cukup valid. Kata Kunci: modul pembelajaran, pemecahan masalah, tegangan permukaan dan viskositas ABSTRACT This research aimed to describe the feasibility results and produce characteristics of high school physics learning modules based on problem solving. The method is R&D with a 3D model consisting of 3 stages is definition (observation, study of literature, analysis of needs, and analysis of teaching material), design (design validation and design revision) and develop (module validation and module revision) by Thiagrajan (1974). The instruments used in this study were the observation sheet, students and teacher questionnaire sheet, questionnaire test validation team of experts. The results showed that the physics modules developed with problem solving were included in the enough valid category on the content aspect of 71%, the presentation aspect by 75%, the language aspect by 75% and the problem solving aspect by 71% and the graphics by 75% have quite valid criteria.
