Abstract

This study aims to analyze the need for developing digital learning models using MOOCs in practical courses at universities using the Rasch Model. This research is part of Research and Development (R D) research but is only limited to the needs analysis stage. The population taken in this study were all undergraduate students at IAIN Curup. The sampling technique used is probability sampling with a total sample of 69 students from 17 study programs. The method used for data collection is a questionnaire. The instrument used in this research is a questionnaire on the need for developing a digital learning model using MOOCs in practical courses at IAIN Curup. The results showed that the quality of the student response questionnaires to the digital learning model using MOOCs in this practical course was very good. The results of the analysis of the respondents and the questionnaire items showed that the majority of respondents agreed with all the questionnaire items given, which means they agreed to do the model development digital learning using MOOCs in practical courses. These results can be used to support the implication of learning MOOCs in practical courses.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan ada tidaknya hubungan signifikan antara minat belajar dengan hasil belajar fisika siswa melalui model Project Based Learning (PjBL) pada siswa kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 6 Kota Bengkulu. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian Quasi Experimental dengan desain penelitian one-group pretest-posttest. Sampel penelitian diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yang sebelumnya telah diuji normalitas diperoleh siswa kelas XI MIPA D sebagai kelas uji coba (eksperimen). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket untuk minat belajar fisika dan tes untuk hasil belajar fisika. Analisis data diuji menggunakan analisis korelasi product moment. Uji prasyarat analisis data berupa uji normalitas. Berdasarkan analisa data diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara minat belajar dengan hasil belajar fisika siswa melalui pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) pada siswa kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 6 Kota Bengkulu. yang ditunjukkan  dari nilai  yang lebih besar dari  (0,660>0,479) dengan kontribusi minat sebesar 43,56% dengan indikator minat yang paling besar pengaruhnya adalah indikator perasaan senang dengan nilai korelasi rata-rata sebesar 0,669 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara minat belajar dan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk medeskripsikan peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kreatif dan keterampilan komunikasi setelah diterapkan pendekatan student centered learning pada matakuliah Strategi Pembelajan Fisika. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan statistik deskriptif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari 3 siklus, dimana setiap siklusnya terdiri dari 4 komponen diataranya; perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa pendidikan fisika FKIP UNIB semester  III tahun ajaran 2019/2020 yang terdiri 25 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi. Analisis penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif, yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan gambaran terhadap tes dan observasi oleh observer. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat di simpulkan bahwa Penerapan pendekatan Student Centered Learning pada matakuliah Strategi Pembelajaran Fisika dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif, dan keterampilan komunikatif  mahasiswa Pendidikan Fisika semester III dari siklus satu sampai ke tiga. Kata kunci: Student Centered Learning (SCL), Keterampilan Berpikir Kreatif, Keterampilan Komunikasi ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the improvement of creative thinking skills and communication skills after applying the student centered learning approach to the Physics Learning Strategies Course. This research used a descriptive statistical approach. This research was a classroom action research (CAR) and consisted of 3 cycles, each cycle consisting of 4 components; planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects in this study were all students of physics education FKIP UNIB semester III of 2019/2020 school year consisting of 25 people. The instruments used to collect data in this study were observation sheets. The research analysis was carried out using descriptive statistics, namely to describe the description of the test and observation by the observer. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the application of the Student Centered Learning approach to Physics Learning Strategy courses can improve creative thinking skills and communicative skills of Physics Education students in the third semester from cycle one to three. Kata kunci: Student Centered Learning (SCL), Keterampilan Berpikir Kreatif, Keterampilan Komunikasi

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan guru dan siswa terhadap media pembelajaran fisika berbasis aplikasi lectora inspire. Data penelitian diambil dari populasi guru fisika dan siswa dari SMA N 1, SMA N 7 dan SMA N 6  di kabupaten Bengkulu Selatan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan kuesioner lembar angket kebutuhan yang disebarkan secara langsung ke pada siswa dan guru fisika.  Implikasi dari penelitian pada guru dan siswa untuk mengubah pola pengajaran yang sesuai dengan kurikulum.  Pada penelitian ini responden kuesioner terdiri dari 89 siswa dan 3 orang guru fisika pada 3 sekolah yang ada di kabupaten Bengkulu Selatan. Data yang dihasilkan dengan menggunakan angket dan dianalisis kemudian dibuat kesimpulan berdasarkan interpretasi hasil analisis. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa hasil penyebaran angket kebutuhan guru sebesar 82,22% dengan katagori sangat setuju. Pada penyebaran angket kebutuhan siswa sebesar 78,87% dengan katagori sangat setuju. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data kesimpulan bahwa pengembangan media pembelajaran sangat dibutuhkan baik guru fisika maupun siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kebutuhan, maka akan dilakukan pengembangan media pembelajaran fisika berbasis aplikasi lectora inspire. This study aims to analyze the needs of teachers and students for physics learning media based on the Lectora inspire application. The research data were taken from a population of physics teachers and students from SMA N 1, SMA N 7 and SMA N 6 in the Bengkulu Selatan district. The data analysis technique used quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. The data collection technique used in this research is a needs questionnaire distributed directly to students and physics teachers. The implications of research on teachers and students change the teaching pattern according to the curriculum. In this study, 89 students and three physics teachers from 3 schools in Bengkulu Selatan district were questionnaire respondents. The data was generated using a questionnaire and analyzed and then made conclusions based on the interpretation of the analysis results. The data collected from the results of the distribution of teacher needs questionnaires amounted to 82.22%, with the category of strongly agree. In the distribution of student needs questionnaires of, 78.87% with the category of strongly agree. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that both physics teachers and students very much need learning media development. Based on the needs analysis results, the development of physics learning media based on the Lectora inspire application will be carried out.

Abstract

Kegiatan proses belajar di sekolah tentunya menjadi sorotan bagi kita untuk melihat hasil belajar peserta didik. Artinya, sekolah harus mampu menyediakan fasilitas ataupun sarana pembelajaran yang mendukung proses pembelajaran di sekolah. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil analisis kebutuhan guru dan peserta didik terhadap pengembangan LKPD berbasis STEM untuk melatih berpikir kritis materi elastisitas dan hukum Hooke. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif yang termasuk kedalam bagian penelitian research and development (R&D). Model yang digunakan adalah model 4D yang diantaranya meliputi tahapan define, design, develop, dan dissemination. Dalam penelitian ini tahapan yang digunakan adalah tahapan analisis kebutuhan, Data penelitian diambil dari populasi guru fisika dan peserta didik dari 3 sekolah SMA di Kota Bengkulu. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan instrumen lembar angket kebutuhan yang disebarkan secara langsung kepada guru fisika dan peserta didik SMA. Pada penelitian ini responden kuesioner terdiri dari 75 peserta didik dan 3 orang guru fisika dari 3 sekolah yang ada di Kota Bengkulu. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini ialah angket, dimana angket yang digunakan ialah angket analisis kebutuhan peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menyebutkan bahwa instrument yang digunakan valid dan reliabel. Hasil penelitian juga, menyebutkan bahwa peserta didik dari 3 sekolah SMA di Kota Bengkulu sangat setuju dengan pengembangan LKPD berbasis STEM untuk melatih berpikir kritis. Adapun fungsi dari penelitian ini sebagai need assessment yang berimplikasi terhadap pertimbangan dalam merancang LKPD berbasis STEM agar dapat memfasilitasi guru dan peserta didik dalam melatih berpikir kritis materi elastisitas dan hukum Hooke. Learning process activities at school are certainly a highlight for us to see student learning outcomes. This means that schools must be able to provide learning facilities or facilities that support the learning process in schools. Therefore, this study was conducted to describe the results of the analysis of the needs of teachers and students towards the development of STEM-based Student Worksheets to train critical thinking of elasticity material and Hooke law. This method is descriptive research included in the research and development (R&D) section. The model used is a 4D model, which includes the stages of define, design, develop, and dissemination. In this study, the stage used was the stage of integrity analysis. The research data was taken from the population of physics teachers and students from 3 high schools in Bengkulu City. The data collection technique in this study used a needs questionnaire sheet instrument distributed directly to physics teachers and high school students. In this study, the questionnaire respondents comprised 75 students and three physics teachers from 3 schools in Bengkulu City. The instrument in this study is a questionnaire, where the questionnaire used is a questionnaire for analyzing student needs. The study's results stated that the instruments used were valid and reliable. The study's results also stated that students from 3 high schools in Bengkulu City strongly agreed with developing STEM-based Student Worksheets to train critical thinking. The function of this study as a need assessment has implications for considerations in designing STEM-based Student Worksheets to facilitate teachers and students in training critical thinking of elasticity material and Hooke law.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the responses of the training participants in making digital teaching materials according to the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) curriculum at IAIN Curup.This activity was carried out in July 2022 at the Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN Curup). The target audience for this service activity is the education community, namely IAIN Curup. The target of this service is lecturers at IAIN Curup. However, the research sample was only 25 lecturers who were participants in the training held by the service team from Bengkulu University. Data was collected by means of surveys in the form of response questionnaires distributed to lecturers who were trainees whose purpose was to measure the success of this activity process. These results were then analyzed quantitatively and descriptively. The questionnaire used as a data collection tool in this activity was developed by following a modified Likert Scale with 4 answer choices, namely strongly agree, agree, disagree, and strongly disagree. The results of this study shows that the training has been carried out well, both in terms of the material, the method of delivery, the software used, how to guide practical activities and the compatibility between digital teaching materials made with the characteristics that teaching materials must possess. In addition, this training activity is also able to motivate or encourage training participants to create and provide digital teaching materials that arein accordance with the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) by considering the needs of students, campuses, and regions, and encouraging them to be more creative in innovating teaching materials.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the result of the response to the needs of development digital comics for students. This research is a descriptive research part of R&D research using the ADDIE model. The instruments used are observation sheets, interview sheets, and questionnaire sheets. The subjects consisted of physics teachers and class X students with 147 students and 4 teachers. The instruments used in this study are valid and reliable, students and teachers in 3 high schools in Bengkulu City strongly agree and need digital comic-based learning media with a result obtained being 83,45%.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the needs of students for the PJBL-based blended learning model assisted by MOOC at universities. This type of research is survey research. The research was conducted at a university using a purposive sampling technique with a total of 46 student respondents who were representatives of semester 2, 4, 6, and 8 students. The data collection technique used a questionnaire developed from three aspects: the need for the blended learning model, the need for learning using the MOOC system, and the need for project-based learning. The results of this study indicate that students need a PJBL-based blended learning model using the MOOC system in universities. The results of this research can be used as a basis for development related to the MOOC-assisted project-based blended learning model in further research.

Abstract

ABSTRAK  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Solving Fisika (PSF) terhadap pemahaman konsep dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi gelombang dan bunyi di SMAN 1 Kota Bengkulu. Penelitian ini menggunakan disain nonequivalent control group design untuk meneliti pengaruh model pembelajaran PSF terhadap pemahaman konsep dan one group pretest posstest design untuk meneliti pengaruh model pembelajaran PSF terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis. Analisis data menggunakan uji T dua sampel independen menunjukkan bahwa 1) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dengan model pembelajaran PSF terhadap pemahaman konsep dengan nilai thitung>ttabel yaitu (4.58>1.81), dengan besar pengaruh sebesar 1.12 artinya model pembelajaran Problem Solving Fisika memberikan pengaruh sebesar 70,9 % terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa, yang berada dalam kategori sedang. 2) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pembelajaran dengan model PSF terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis diketahui dengan adanya selisih antara skor rata-rata Posttest dengan skor rata-rata Pretest (O2-O1) sebesar 12.94, dengan besar pengaruh sebesar 2.08, artinya model pembelajaran Problem Solving Fisika memberikan pengaruh sebesar 84.1% berada pada kategori Tinggi. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Solving Fisika terhadap pemahaman konsep dan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran Problem Solving Fisika, Pemahaman Konsep, Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis

Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah upaya mewujudkan peserta didik mandiri serta aktif dalam proses pembalajaran fisika serta belum dikembangkannya Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis scaffolding berorientasi berpikir kritis pada materi Hukum Newton. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKPD berbasis scaffolding berorientasi berpkir kritis pada materi Hukum Newton tentang gerak dan mendeskripsikan kelayakan lembar kerja peserta didik.  Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan motode 3D (define, design dan develop) yang dimodifikasi dari metode 4D. Pada tahap validasi, lembar kerja peserta didik divaliasi oleh 3 validator. Hasil validasi menujukkan bahwa lembar kerja peserta didik sangat layak dengan persentase capaian 89%. Persentase tersebut merupakan rata-rata dari aspek isi 82%, aspek penyajian 94% dan aspek bahasa  92%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa lembar kerja peserta didik berbasis scaffolding berorintasi berpikir kritis pada materi Hukum Newton memenuhi kriteria dengan kwalitas sangat layak sebagai salah satu media pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh peserta didik SMA kelas X. Kata Kunci : LKPD, scaffolding, berpikir kritis, Hukum Newton ABSTRACT The background of this research was the effort to realize independent and active students in the physics learning process and had not yet developed a Student Worksheet (SW) based on critical thinking oriented scaffolding on Newton’s Law theory. This research aimed to develop the student worksheet based on critical thinking oriented scaffolding on Newton’s Law theory about motion and describe the feasibility of the student worksheet. This research was Research and Development (R&D) with the 3D method (define, design, and develop) which modified from the 4D method. In the validation step, student worksheet was validated by 3 validators. The result of validation showed that student worksheet was very feasible with an achievement percentage of 89%. The percentage was an average of content aspects of 82%, presentation aspects of 94%, and language aspects of 92%. Thus, it can be concluded that student worksheets based on critical thinking oriented scaffolding on Newton’s Law theory meet the criteria with a very feasible quality as one of the learning media used by senior high school students in class X. Keywords : SW, scaffolding, critical thinking, Newton’s Law
