Abstract

Oil palm production is very dependent on the climatic condition and physical characteristic of the environment where the oil palm is grown. Its yield potential is declining when the oil palm experienced stressful conditions. Hence, monitoring oil palm production is important to predict oil palm production level. A study in Sungai Dua Oil Palm Plantation locations in Riau Province, Indonesia was conducted, on using Web GIS for managing the database of the production from year 2013-2017. Data of planting year, area of block, and oil palm production recorded. The ultimate aim of this research is in these areas was to evaluate the oil palm productivity in each block. This information will be utilized by managers and the decision makers in the plantation to take necessary and immediate action for the improvement of plantation productivity. Also, It is important to understand the differences of crop yield among blocks to to ensure production consistency.
