Abstract

Introduction: Lead can induce lipid oxidation in cell membrans, thus forming free radicals. The process of imbalance of free radicals and antioxidants will disrupt the normal function of cells, causing cell death and decreased sperm quality. Purpose: The purpose of this research is to explain the mechanism of steeping tin leaves (Ficus carica) increase sperm quality in male mice (Mus musculus) exposed to lead acetate. Methods: This type of research was true experimental design with posttest only control group design with the number of replications of 10 male mice, the experimental unit will be distributed proportionally to 5 groups. Steeping tin leaves will be given with a dose of Pb + Tin Leaf 1.664 mg (P1) and Pb + Tin Leaf 3.328 mg (P2), while for lead acetate dose 0.5 mg and quercetin dose 0.7 mg. The analyzed variables included spermatozoa motility, spermatozoa morphology, and spermatozoa concentration. Data analysis was conducted including the Shapiro-Wilks normality test, and the homogeneity test used the Levene test. If the data were not homogeneous, the group average test would use the Brown-Forsythe test, then continued with a different test for each group using the Post Hoc Games-Howell test. If the Levene test data were homogeneous, the group average test would use Oneway Anova. Findings: The results showed that giving of steeping tin leaves with a dose of Pb + Tin leaves 3.328 mg (P2) is able to increase spermatozoa motility and spermatozoa morphology. Conclusion: The steeping tin leaves increase sperm quality

Abstract

Kemampuan menterjemahkan merupakan kemampuan bahasa yang wajib dikuasai oleh mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuanmendeskripsikan pemanfaatan online dictionary dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menterjemahkan mahasiswa. Pendekatankualitatif digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan berbagai jenis kesalahan dalam pemanfaatan online dictionary untukmenterjemahkan teks prosedur. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara yaitu dengan dokumen tertulis. Sumber datadiambil dari teks terjemahan bahasa Inggris dari mahasiswa semester 5 Program Studi Sastra Inggris Udinus denganmemanfaatkan online dictionary. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa terdapat dua bentuk kesalahan yang dilakukan dalampenerjemahan yaitu kesalahan leksikal dan kesalahan gramatikal. Kesalahan leksikal berupa pemilihan kosa kata dankesalahan gramatikal berupa kesalahan penggunaan tenses, kesalahan penggunaan preposisi, dan ketidaklengkapan kalimat.Kata Kunci: analisis kesalahan, online dictionary, teks terjemahan, mahasiswa, bahasa Indonesia,bahasa Inggris

Abstract

Indirrect expression is widely used in writing news on the mass media, including short stories in newspapers. This paper tries to describe indirrect expressions in the title of the storiy on Poskota daily’s Column "Nah Ini Dia". Data is taken from the title of the storiy on Poskota daily’s Column "Nah Ini Dia", 2020, March-April edition. The research method uses descriptive qualitative methods. Documentation techniques used in collecting data. Data analysis used Riffatere's indirrect expressions theory with focused on analysing displacing of meaning, distorcing of meaning, and creating of meaning. The results show that indirrect expression is occur due to displacing of meaning, distorcing of meaning, and creating of meaning. Displacing of meaning appear in the form of figurative language such as metaphor, personification, periphrasis, and euphemism. distorcing of meaning appears in the form of ambiguity, contradiction, and irony.  Creatiing of meaning appears in the form of simitri and two types of rhythm: assonance and consonance. Using indirect expressions make the title of the story  more polite and have poetic sense.

Abstract

Introduction: Cervical cancer is the second most common malignancy among various cancers in the genetalia of women, and often occurs at reproductive age. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to create a cervical cancer risk factor score card in order to know the risk score for cervical cancer in women of reproductive age by conducting self-assessment. Methods: The design of this research was cross-sectional, with 81 patients as respondents. Data were collected through filling out a questionnaire, then analyzed using Mc Nemar Test and ROC curve. Findings: Obtained a cut-off point 11 with a sensitivity value of 93.8%, a specificity of 90.9%. The results of testing the validity of the score card obtained results with an accuracy value of 92.6%, with a significant value of 0.000, which means there was a relationship between the scorecard and the diagnosis of cervical cancer. Conclusion: The score card can be used as a self-assessment in the hope that it can increase women to perform early detection of cervical cancer.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to study of the characteristics of edible film after addition of different concentrations of kolang-kaling and beeswax. The research used of Factorial Block Randomized Design with two treatments and each treatment was replicated three times. The first treatment was concentrations of the kolang-kaling (5%, 10%, 15% and 20%), and the second treatment was concentrations of the beeswax (0%, 0,5%, 1%, and 1,5%). The parameters were water content, tensile strength, elongation percentage, thickness, and water vapor transmission rate. The result showed that the addition of different concentrations of kolang-kaling and beeswax significantly afected the water content, tensile strength, elongation percentage, thickness, and water vapor transmission rate. The thickness increased with the increasing concentrations of kolang-kaling and beeswax. The water vapor transmission rate, tensile strength, and elongation percentage were decreased. The tensile strength, elongation percentage, thickness, and water vapor transmission rate of edible film were 0,342 Kgf cm-2, 52,5%, 0,025 mm and 53,439 gm-2hari-1 respectively. The best treatment was achived by using concentration of kolang-kaling at 5% and concentration of beeswax at 1,5%. Key words : Edible film, kolang-kaling, beeswax

Abstract

The study objective was to determine the shelf life of edible coating packaged of durian lempok. The experimental method used in this study was Factorial Randomized Block Design consisting of three factors. These factors were tapioca starch, stearate acid, and CMC. The edible coating solution was applied in to durian lempok by using dip method. The result showed that edible coating packaged of durian lempok could increase the durian lempok shelf life by 67 percent than durian lempok without edible coating. The edible coating was capable of decreasing the durian lempok weight loss by magnitude of 36.38% during storage, decreasing the peroxide number by magnitude of 33.33%, decreasing the water content by magnitude of 7.54%, and suppressing the microbial growth by the amount of 31.20%, respectively. Visual change of non-coating lempok had occurred on the day of 19th, which was indicated by greyish-white colour change due to certain type of mold on lempok surface, while the similar change happened at day of 31th (T2A3C3 treatment). Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi tingkat kepuasan para konsumen Hotel Tanjung asri Banyuwangi. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah konsumen Hotel Tanjung asri Banyuwangi. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian berjumlah 100 orang dan metode yang digunakan adalah accidental sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mendistribusikan kuesioner kepada responden. Analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda, dimana Y1 menunjuk pada variabel kepuasan konsumen dan Y2 menunjuk pada variabel loyalitas konsumen, X1 variabel tangible, X2 variabel reliability, X3 variabel responsiveness, X4 variabel assurance, dan X5 variabel empathy. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis dapat diterima. Hasil ini adalah terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara Wujud fisik, Kehandalan dalam menangani konsumen, Daya Tanggap, Jaminan yang diberikan dan Empati terhadap kepuasan konsumen, sedangkan kepuasan konsumen berpengaruh positif terhadap loyalitas konsumen.

The population in this research were patien of Hotel Tanjung asri in Banyuwangi. Sample were 100 persons and the method used was Accidental sampling. The data was collected by distributing questionnaires to the respondents. The analysis used is multiple linear regression, where Y1 is customer satisfaction variable, Y is customer loyalty variable,  X1 is tangible variable, X2 is reliability variable, X3 is responsiveness variable, X4 is assurance variable, and X5 is empathy variable. Result of this survey shows that these 5 assessments were accepted. The result is, there is a positive and significant relation between tangible Hotel Tanjung asri Banyuwangi, reliability of Hotel Tanjung asri Banyuwangi in handling consumer, responsiveness of Hotel Tanjung asri Banyuwangi, guarantee given by Hotel Tanjung asri Banyuwangi, empathy against customer satisfaction.and customer satisfaction a positive and significant relation between customerloyaltyKeywords: customer loyalty customer satisfaction, tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy.

Abstract

ABSTRAKJudul Penelitian ini adalah peranan Variabel Moral pegawai, komitmen pegawai, motivasi pegawai dan pengaruhnya OCB Pegawai terhadap Quality service (Studi Lembaga Pendidikan Muhamadiyah di Kabupaten Jember). Instansi yang terlibat adalah Pegawai Lembaga Pendidikan Muhammadiyah (SD/SMP/SMU/SMK dan  Universitas Muhamadiyah Jember) sebagai sampel penelitian. Temuan yang ditargetkan Adanya peningkatan pemahaman Teori OCB dan Teori Quality Service di Lembaga Pendidikan Muhamadiyah Kabupaten Jember. Semakin meningkat moral pegawai, komitmen pegawai, motivasi pegawai akan meningkatkan Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) dan dampaknya meningkatkan Kualitas Layanan Lembaga Pendidikan Muhammadiyah. Melalui analisa statistic deskriptif, uji insrumen data : validitas dan reabilitas, selanjutnya perhitungan analisa jalur (path analys) software SPSS versi 20. for windows. Selanjutnya menggunakan uji asumsi klasik : Heteroskedatis, normalitas,dan multikolineritas. Hasil temuan  dari penelitian ini diharapkan  dapat digunakan sebagai bahan pertimbangan bagi pimpinan Lembaga Pendidikan Muhammadiyah yang ada di Kabupaten Jember terkait pelayanan prima sebagai wujud realisasi kinerja organisasi yang baik.Kata Kunci: moral, komitmen, OCB, kualitas layanan pendidikan ABSTRACTThe title of this study is the role of Variable Moral employee, employee commitment, employee motivation and influence of OCB Employee on Quality service (Study Institution Muhamadiyah in Jember District). Through descriptive statistic analysis, data insrumen test: validity and reliability, then calculation of path analysis (path analys) SPSS software version 20. for windows. Next use the classical assumption test: Heteroskedatis, normality, and multikolineritas. Abstract

Rosokku sudah memiliki sistem perencanaan penjualan dan penerimaan permintaan yang terkoordinir dengan baik, sehingga Rosokku dapat memiliki pemasukan kas dan memiliki pendapatan tiap bulan. Namun, Harga permintaan kertas yang tidak konsisten membuat laba Rosokku tidak sama tiap bulannya. Pada usaha Rosokku juga mempunyai 7 orang bagian struktur organisasi. Setiap satu orang diberikan lebih dari 1 beban pekerjaan. Sehingga pekerja membutuhkan tenaga dan waktu lebih untuk menyelesaikan pekerjaannya. Berdasarkan penjelasan di atas, sehingga analisis kelayakan bisnis diperlukan untuk dijadikan suatu bahan evaluasi dalam menjalankan dan mengembangkan usaha ini. Rosokku merupakan suatu usaha rintisan yang dapat memberikan layanan kepada masyarakat maupun perusahaan terkait pengelolaan sampah. Sinergi bisnis Rosokku bertujuan untuk merubah posisi masyarakat menjadi supplier sampah kertas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisa kelayakan bisnis. Aspek pasar pada usaha Rosokku masih dikatakan layak meskipun pasar sasaran perlu diperluas lagi. Untuk aspek teknis pada usaha Rosokku masih dikatakan layak semua. Pada aspek manajemen pada usaha Rosokku dikatakan tidak layak. Dan terakhir aspek finansial usaha Rosokku pada CV. Kreasi Anak Nusantara dapat dikatakan layak untuk dilakukan.
