This study aims to identify learning style trends in social studies education students at PGRI University, West Sumatra. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach using survey methods. The research variable is the identification of student learning styles. The research population was students of the Social Sciences Education Study Program at the University of PGRI Sumatra with 39 active students who were obtained from the campus data base. The sample used as a research sample was 100% of the population, which totaled 39 people. Sampling technique using Total Sampling. The research instrument The data analysis technique in this study was a descriptive statistical analysis method. Based on the results of the study, it is known that students of the Social Sciences Education study program have a tendency towards one learning style. Of the 39 students, it was found that 6 students had a tendency for a visual learning style, 20 students had a tendency for an auditory learning style, 1 student had a tendency for a kinesthetic learning style, and 12 students had a tendency for a mixed learning style between visual and auditory learning styles.
