Abstract

Reading is the main key to knowing various kinds of advances in science and technology. In the process of reading, schemata are involved in understanding the contents of the reading. The analysis in this study uses a quantitative description method with an experimental approach based on the results of reading comprehension of personality texts. The results of this study indicate that the ability of students to read personality texts in the Indonesian context based on student schemata is categorized as moderate.
