<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to describe the results of using image media on the ability of students to write poetry in the fourth semester at the Islamic University of Labuhan Batu. Using descriptive qualitative research methods, with test instruments and questionnaires. The number of samples taken were fourth semester students at Labuhan Batu University, totaling 36 students. Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be described that the test results for improving the poetry writing skills of fourth semester students at Labuhan Batu University are categorized as "Good". This can be seen by the average score obtained by students, which is 83.42. Writing Poetry Using Image Media by Labuhan Batu University Students is categorized as "Good". This can be seen by the average score obtained by students, which is 86.39. There is an Improvement in Writing Poetry Skills by Using Image Media by Labuhan Batu University Students. This can be seen in the hypothesis testing carried out on the data found, where the hypothesis obtained is that the value of rxy (product moment correlation coefficient between variable X and variable Y) is 1,434 so that when compared to r table, namely (1.343> 0.45, the hypothesis in this study is accepted.]]>
