In the current era of globalization according to the development of science and technology in various educational institutions. This phenomenon must be understood by following the development of information technology, for example by establishing a library. Libraries play an important role in supporting teaching and learning activities in tertiary institutions. It is hoped that information technology can provide solutions to further maximize library performance in the Medan State University PTIK study program as a solution is to build an online library (e-library). The research method used is research and development (R&D) using the Extreme Programming development method which makes the creation of information systems faster and more efficient
