<![CDATA[The main purpose of this research is to investigate the impact of social support on the stress experienced by parents of mentally challenged children, which is moderated by the economic status. Utilizing a quantitative approach, the study involves 98 parents of mentally children enrolled in the School for Mentally Retarded Children in Bandung. The study's instruments encompass House's (1985) social support, the Perceived Stress Scale, and Kuppuswamy's Socioeconomic Scale. The analysis techniques is moderated regression analysis (MRA). The results showed that socioeconomic status is moderating the effect of social support to stress. The effect of Social Support on Stress in the high SE is stronger than in the low SE.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah status sosial ekonomi memoderasi dukungan sosial dengan tingkat stres pada orang tua yang memiliki anak tunagrahita di SLB C Kota Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan partisipan berjumlah 98 orang tua yang memiliki anak tunagrahita di SLB C Kota Bandung. Instrumen pada penelitian ini menggunakan alat ukur dukungan sosial yang mengacu pada aspek House (1985), Perceived Stress Scale 10 untuk mengukur stres, dan Kuppuswamy’s Socio Economic Scale untuk mengukur status sosial ekonomi.
