<![CDATA[The background of this Community Service activity is that air and water pollution are serious issues in the city of Batu. The increase in the number of motor vehicles, industries, and urban growth has led to an increase in air pollution emissions, which can have a negative impact on air quality and the health of the local population. Meanwhile, water pollution from industrial and domestic waste can harm river ecosystems and vital water sources. Like other regions around the world, Batu city is facing the increasingly evident impacts of climate change. Rising temperatures, changes in rainfall patterns, and extreme weather can affect agriculture, food security, as well as the availability and quality of water. In the midst of these challenges, there is an urgent need to find sustainable and environmentally friendly solutions that can be widely adopted by the community. One solution is the use of eco-enzymes, a natural mixture that can be used in various aspects of daily life. The goal of this community service is the Development of an eco-enzyme program for community empowerment and waste reduction in Batu city. Community service activities can be an effective platform to address these challenges by actively involving the community in environmental conservation efforts. The partner community for this service is Sukorembug Village, Batu City. The results of the service are the community and the service team providing guidance on the development of an eco-enzyme program for community empowerment and waste reduction in Batu City, which includes the treatment of organic waste at the household or community level.]]>
