Abstract

Kata Kunci: Profitabilitas, Struktur Modal, Biaya Operasional, Pajak Penghasilan Badan Terutang Abstract This study aims to examine the effect of profitability, capital structure and operating costs on corporate income tax payable. The sample in this study is all manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2018 to 2021. The sample used was 308 companies using a purposive sampling technique. The research methodology used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS software. The results showed that partially profitability as measured using the Operating Profit Ratio (OPR) and operational costs had a positive effect on corporate income tax payable. This means that the higher the profitability and operational costs, the higher the Corporate Income Tax payable. Meanwhile, the capital structure proxied by the Debt to Equty Ratio (DER) has no effect on corporate income tax payable because companies prefer debt from shareholders over bank debt. Keywords: Profitability, Capital Structure, Operational Cost, Corporate Tax Income Payable
