The purpose of this study was to evaluate the personality competence of Christian Religious Education teachers in shaping student character and discipline. This research is focused on students who are in class V at SDN 8 Tikala. In accordance with the provisions of Law No. 20 of 2003 concerning National Education, the main purpose of education is to explore the potential of students in various aspects, including the spiritual dimension, personality and intelligence aspects. The teacher has a crucial role in shaping the character of students, being a role model in behavior, actions and speech. This study adopted a qualitative approach by collecting data through various stages, including literature study, field research, observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that proficiency in personality aspects for Christian Religious Education teachers has a significant impact on shaping the character patterns and the level of student discipline. A good teacher's personality, such as punctuality, honesty, responsibility, as well as a wise, prudent, and authoritative attitude, contributes to shaping the character of student discipline. Although teachers have shown many positive aspects of personality, there are still areas for expansion, especially in showing exemplary faith, piety, and noble behavior. In conclusion, Christian religious education teachers have an important role in shaping the character and discipline of students through good and exemplary personalities.
