<![CDATA[This research aims to study the application of thematic classes and the efforts of teachers in overcoming the obstacles encountered in the implementation of thematic learning SDN I Gempol. This research used descritive qualitative approach. The Subjects were three low grade teacher at SDN I Gempol. Data collection using interviews and document analysis. Data analysis process starts from reviewing all data from interviews with thematic learning device. After thawith data reduction into a table and verification to draw conclusions. The results show that teachers have applie thematic learning problem faced by teachers when creating the lesson plan teachers difficulties in combining the subjects of basic competencies that are not related to other basic competence. Efforts of teachers in addressing the issue is still implement thematic learning to student despite her subjects are still visible]]>
