This study aims to determine the learning outcomes of addition mathematics using colored chips in class IIC SD Unggulan 1, Morotai Island Regency. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with 24 students as research subjects. This research was conducted in two cycles with each cycle consisting of 4 stages, namely the stages of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. Data collection techniques through observation and tests and data were analyzed in quantitative form. The results of this study indicate that the use of colored chip media can improve student and teacher learning outcomes in the teaching and learning process. Student learning outcomes from Cycle I were only 5 students who completed with a percentage of 21% and there was a significant increase in cycle II which completed 21 with a percentage of 88% and 3 students who had not completed with a percentage of 12%. Classically, learning outcomes have reached the KKM standard of 70.
