This study aims to identify problems or issues faced in learning the Arabic language in second-semester students of PBA 2 class IAIN Ternate, as well as propose solutions to overcome these problems. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and document studies related to the Arabic language learning process in the class. The results show several main problems: lack of student interest and motivation, diverse ability backgrounds, monotonous teaching methods, lack of Arabic language practice, and limited learning time. To overcome these problems, the proposed solutions include increasing student motivation, equalizing basic abilities, applying interactive and varied learning methods, creating an Arabic-speaking environment on campus, optimizing learning time, and improving the quality and competence of lecturers. This research is expected to provide input for the development of Arabic language learning that is more effective and interesting for students at IAIN Ternate.
