<![CDATA[ABSTRAKKota Cilegon memiliki berbagai potensi wisata alam khususnya wisata bahari. Salah satu wisata alam bahari yang sangat berpotensi adalah Pulau Merak Kecil. Pulau Merak Kecil merupakan salah satu destinasi wisata bahari di Kota Cilegon yang memiliki banyak potensi. Ketertarikan masyarakat akan wisata alam berkembang pesat khususnya wisata alam terbuka salah satunya adalah wisata bahari. Wisata bahari Pulau Merak Kecil ini belakangan ramai dikunjungi oleh wisatawan dalam kota maupun wisatawan luar kota. Kejadian Covid-19 yang terjadi dua tahun belakang ini membuat masyarakat lebih memilih wisata alam khususnya wisata bahari. Perairan sekitar Pulau Merak Kecil rentan terhadap pencemaran logam berat yang timbul oleh aktivitas manusia maupun aktivitas ekonomi melalui kapal-kapal yang berlayar di sekitar perairan Pulau Merak Kecil. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kandungan logam berat timbal (Pb), tembaga (Cu), dan Kadmium (Cd) dan dibandingkan dengan Lampiran VIII PP No. 22 Tahun 2021. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Pengecekan logam berat dilakukan di di Laboratorium Dinas Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan di Kawasan Pusat Pemerintahan Provinsi Banten (KP3B) Banten. Hasil penelitian menunjukan perairan Pulau Merak Kecil mengkhawatirkan karena dari tiga logam berat, dua diantaranya di atas baku mutu.Kata Kunci : Cilegon, logam berat, Pulau Merak Kecil, Peraturan Pemerintah No. 22 Tahun 2021ABSTRACTCilegon has various natural tourism potentials, especially marine tourism. One of the potential marine natural attractions is Pulau Merak Kecil. Pulau Merak Kecil is one of the marine tourism destinations which has a lot of potential. Public interest in natural tourism is growing rapidly, especially outdoor tourism, one of which is marine tourism. Marine tourism on Merak Kecil Island has recently been visited by tourists in the city and tourists outside the city. The Covid-19 incident that occurred in the past two years has made people prefer natural tourism, especially marine tourism. The waters around Pulau Merak Kecil are vulnerable to heavy metal pollution arising from human activities and economic activities through ships sailing around the waters of Pulau Merak Kecil. This study aims to determine the content of heavy metals lead (Pb), copper (Cu), and Cadmium (Cd) and compared with Appendix VIII of Government Regulation No. 22 of 2021. The research method used quantitative descriptive method. Heavy metal checks were carried out at the Environmental and Forestry Service Laboratory in the Banten Provincial.
