Abstract

Pembelajaran ekstrakurikuler biola di Sekolah Dasar Teruna Bangsa Yogyakarta belum terlaksana dengan maksimal, dikarenakan siswa masih kesulitan dalam membaca notasi balok dan memainkan teknik dasar instrumen biola. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis proses aransemen lagu daerah sebagai media pembelajaran ekstrakurikuler biola pada Sekolah Dasar Teruna Bangsa Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa SD Teruna Bangsa yang mengikuti ekstrakurikuler biola. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara serta studi dokumen. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data yaitu; tahap reduksi, paparan, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah proses aransemen medley lagu daerah dengan menggunakan metode lima langkah aransemen musik yang digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran ekstrakurikuler biola yang dimodifikasi dengan variasi melodi, ritmis dan keterampilan teknik dasar permainan biola. Pembelajaran ekstrakurikuler biola dengan media aransemen medley lagu daerah mampu membantu meningkatkan kemampuan membaca notasi balok dan keterampilan teknik dasar bermain biola. ARRANGEMENT OF FOLK SONG MEDLEYS AS EXTRACURRICULAR LEARNING MEDIA FOR VIOLIN AT TERUNA BANGSA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL YOGYAKARTAViolin extracurricular learning at Teruna Bangsa Elementary School Yogyakarta has not been done optimally because students still struggle to read block notation and play basic violin instrument techniques. This research aims to describe and analyze the process of arranging medley folk songs for violin extracurricular learning at Teruna Bangsa Elementary School Yogyakarta. This research uses qualitative research with a case study approach; the subjects in this research are Teruna Bangsa Elementary School students who participate in violin extracurricular activities. Data collection techniques in this study were obtained through observation, interviews and document studies. This research uses data analysis techniques: reduction, exposure, and conclusion stages. The result of this research is a process of arranging a medley of folk songs using the five-step method of music arrangement, which is used as a learning media for violin extracurriculars,s which are modified with variations in melody, rhythmic and basic technical skills of violin playing. Violin Extracurricular learning with the media of folk song medley arrangements can help improve the ability to read block notation and basic technical skills of playing the violin.
