Abstract

Nurses are required to provide excellentand qualit during 24 hours including rest periode, required that nurses are in good body condition. Sleep quality is an important indicator of health and will being on healthy and clinical population. The will being on nurses foward the patient indirectly improvethe quality of nurse performance, quality service and client satisfaction at hospital. The purpose of this study was to knowing the relationship between sleep quality and nurse caring in nursing care services at Idaman Hospital in Banjarbaru City. The research method is correlated with the approach cross sectional and technique probability sampling with type of sample random sampling. Research sample to executive nurses in, patient room at Idaman Hospital in Banjarbaru City. Data is taken by giving PSQI questionnaire and caring questionnaire created by researcher. Test analysis using Spearman correlation test. Describes average nurses sleep quality of 7,03 amd the nurses caring avarage of 113,04. The analysis result of the found negative relationship between sleep quality of nursing and caring nurses in nursing care services at Idaman Hospital in Banjarbaru City (p Value: ,013<0,05). Sleep quality effect nurses caring in doing nursing care so it is expected that nurses will for their optimize the care of nursing care that their is an increase in the status of patient’s trust and comfort status.
