Abstract

Abstrack-- In the electrical grid system that we often encounter, not all of them have a breaker that can be controlled through a centralized control system. In the wider area, generally wear control system, known as Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA). However, for small electrical networks such as medium industries, not all of them have a facility like this, because to build a SCADA system requires a very large cost, Responding to the above problems is certainly a need for a breakthrough to establish a electrical load control system far distance that can be applied to the electricity network. One alternative that can be done is to use the Smart Relay as the control and monitoring can be integrated with the computer. Keywords : Circuit Breaker, control and monitoring, Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition, , Smart Relay Abstrak-- Pada sistem jaringan listrik yang sering kita jumpai, tidak semuanya memiliki alat pemutus yang dapat dikendalikan melalui suatu sistem kontrol yang terpusat. Pada area yang lebih luas, umumnya sudah memakai sistem kontrol yang dikenal dengan Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition (SCADA) . Namun untuk jaringan listrik yang kecil seperti industri menengah, tidak semuanya memiliki fasilitas seperti ini, karena untuk membangun sistem SCADA memerlukan biaya yang sangat besar, Menyikapi permasalahan diatas tentunya dibutuhkan suatu terobosan untuk membangun suatu sistem pengontrolan beban dari jarak jauh yang dapat diaplikasikan pada jaringan listrik. Salah satu alternatif yang bisa lakukan adalah menggunakan Smart Relay sebagai media pengontrolan dan monitoring yang dapat diintegrasikan dengan komputer.
