Abstract

The Great of Śrivijaya Kingdom must had a great civilization as well as its greatness. The civilization spread to the entire region under his control, not only in southern Sumatra, but also in all parts of the archipelago and even in Southeast Asia. Yet the archaeological study of the Śrivijaya civilization is still spatial, not able to describe the common thread between the position and function between one of Śrivijaya site to others, either nationally and regionally and internationally. Integrity in Śrivijaya study or research is necessary to get a holistic result, not separated by a region boundary either in administrative or territorial geographical. in this paper will try to discuss about the research orientated area that is not fragmented by separation either geographical, administrative, or work areas.
