<![CDATA[With the rapid progress of the times, it cannot be denied that it is easy for foreign culture to enter Indonesia which can be imitated and can damage a person's morals and character. Character education is a learning process that is carried out to direct, shape, train and cultivate positive values that have good morals, strong moral values sincerely without any element of coercion which can be obtained from the family, school and surrounding environment. can be seen from a person's daily behavior, namely being able to behave well, politely, honestly, politely, responsibly, appreciate and respect the rights of others, work hard, and so on. The aim of this research is to provide new knowledge about the importance of character education today in facing society era 5.0. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with the research method used, namely literature review of several books, journal articles, publications, websites which are then concluded and produce new knowledge.]]>
