This research aims to find out what the food consumption patterns of farming households are and also to find out what the condition of household food security is in Negeri Haruku, Haruku Island District, Central Maluku Regency. The research method used in this research is quantitative descriptive in the form of household income, food and non-food expenditure and the proportion of food expenditure to total household expenditure. The sampling method used a cluster sampling technique with a total of 80 respondents. The research results show that people's food consumption patterns vary and that the average household is food secure.
